Promoting lifelong learning on Haida Gwaii

As a community-based organization, we aspire to:

Promote and develop literacy programs.

Increase community access to new and existing programs.

Support adult learners in their learning.

Promote and foster cooperation for literacy programs between industry, the school system and organizations.

Literacy is like velcro.

Literacy involves gaining everyday, essential lifelong skills. It is the velcro skill that is needed for other learning to stick. 2010 Legacies Now made this fabulous video explaining the concept for community leaders and members.
